GWO Basic Safety Training Refesher(BST-R) 

The GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) is strategically developed for individuals either actively engaged or aspiring to establish a career in the wind industry, with a focus on those performing their duties within a wind turbine environment.

It is imperative for personnel working on wind turbines to consistently uphold and refresh their skills and competency in diverse safety and technical domains.

The course unfolds a blend of theoretical and practical learning experiences, including trainer-led classroom presentations and hands-on exercises in simulated work scenarios. Learners are immersed in a realistic training environment that prepares them for actual emergency situations.

All equipment shall be provided for the course.

Complaints should be made within one week of completing a course. Where possible, Urban Abseiler will address complaints informally and may do so over the telephone. In such cases, it will confirm in an email the action it will take. Sometimes a more formal approach is necessary, and in these instances, the complaint must be submitted in writing. The complaint should outline the reason and expectations of the outcome as succinctly as possible and must be emailed to info@urbanabseiler.com.au. If additional supporting documentation is needed, it will be requested at the appropriate time. Complaints are acknowledged within 5 working days of receiving any written complaint. Urban Abseiler management will endeavour to complete any complaints investigation within 1 month of the initial written complaint. Complainants will be kept informed during this period and will be notified of the outcome. • If a complaint is upheld, Urban Abseiler will advise of the actions it proposes to take. • If a complaint is not upheld, Urban Abseiler will explain why.
