Integrated CPR, Safety, and Electrical Rescue Training
This integrated training program combines essential skills from three critical areas: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations, and Rescue from a Live Low Voltage (LV) Panel.
Designed for those working in high-risk environments, this comprehensive course ensures participants are well-prepared to respond to emergencies, maintain workplace safety, and perform life-saving rescues.
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Learn to recognise and respond to cardiac emergencies quickly and effectively. This course, aligned with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, teaches you how to perform CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and manage emergency situations such as regurgitation or vomiting. You'll also learn to communicate accurately with emergency services, review incidents for improvement, and address the psychological impact on yourself and other rescuers.
Apply Work Health and Safety Regulations, Codes and Practices in the Workplace
Gain the knowledge and skills to work safely in the electrotechnology industry by following WHS/OHS regulations and codes of practice. This course covers hazard identification, risk management, and your responsibilities for maintaining a safe working environment. You’ll also learn safe work methods for removing an electric shock victim from a live electrical situation.
Perform a Rescue from a Live Low Voltage (LV) Panel
Develop the skills and knowledge needed to perform a rescue from live low voltage electrical apparatus within the electricity supply industry (ESI). This course covers the inspection and use of LV panel rescue equipment, ensuring compliance with WHS/OHS standards. You'll practice real-life scenarios to become competent in LV panel rescue procedures, a mandatory requirement for specific high-risk industries.
By completing this combined course, you’ll be equipped to handle emergencies, uphold safety standards, and perform critical rescues in the workplace.
