FIRST AID &
LOW VOLTAGE PANEL RESCUE

This combined course provides individuals with the critical skills and knowledge to respond effectively to medical emergencies and electrical hazards in high-risk work environments, particularly within the electricity supply industry (ESI). Participants will learn how to recognise emergencies, administer first aid, and perform live low voltage (LV) panel rescues in line with workplace safety regulations and industry standards.

Key learning outcomes include:
✅ Providing first aid for sudden illness and injuries, including CPR, defibrillation, anaphylaxis, asthma, choking, fractures, and bleeding management
✅ Rescue procedures for live LV electrical apparatus, ensuring compliance with work health and safety (WHS) / occupational health and safety (OHS) standards
✅ Assessing casualties and responding safely using workplace emergency procedures
✅ Inspecting and using LV panel rescue equipment in accordance with ESI workplace requirements
✅ Understanding basic anatomy and physiology, the chain of survival, and the psychological impact of emergency response

This course is a mandatory requirement in many industries where workers interact with live electrical equipment or require first aid certification to maintain workplace safety.
