This Height Safety Equipment Inspection Course provides participants with the foundational skills required to become a competent height safety equipment inspector, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards 1891.4:2009 and workplace safety regulations.
Key learning outcomes include:

✅ Conducting tests to identify defective or underperforming items and recording results accurately
✅ Interpreting Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for safe cleaning and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations

✅ Understanding the responsibilities of a Height Safety Equipment Inspector under AS/NZS 1891.4:2009
The responsibility for determining an individual’s competence to inspect equipment lies with the workplace or PCBU, and those asserting competence may be required to substantiate their claim in court if an incident or investigation occurs.

Important Notice:This course provides training and qualification in equipment inspection, but it does not substitute for real-world experience using height safety equipment. Under Australian Standard 1891.4, a competent person must possess training, qualification, and experience to be deemed capable of inspecting height safety equipment.
